People assume that I read Tarot Cards or use a Crystal ball or that I possibly look like Gypsy Rose Lee but honestly none of this is true about me. The room in which I work is bright orange in colour but is quite plain in other respects. I have one crystal in the room, an amethyst that someone bought for me. I like the colour of the stone as well as believing in the healing qualities of crystals but as far as a crystal ball is concerned I do not used one. It is not that I don’t approve of their use but instead that I don’t need to use one. I don’t read tarot cards, as I don’t need the tools. I am just plain psychic.

I am a qualified medium as I have been trained through the Spiritualist Church whilst attending an awareness class. I have also worked on a rostrum, as this is the natural progression within my vocation. Whilst on the rostrum spirits pass on messages through me to the people that attend the church. The first time I did this I found it very easy as I could actually see the spirit standing behind the person for whom the message was. I love working in this way, being on a stage as I find it very natural.

Tarot cards, crystal balls, crystals and the like are just tools of the trade so to speak. It is quite unnerving to sit in front of a person and give a reading. Some psychics need the 'tools' to give them confidence to work but and once you are confident enough and are able to work without these tools, you put them away, just like a manual for any 'normal' job.

When I do look at Tarot cards I lay the cards out and find that although they are in front of me, I very rarely look at them and instead look to the wall. Each tarot card has at least ten different ways in which it can be interpreted and you need your psychic ability to know which meaning is relevant to the person who is sat in front of you and also what relevance the next card has on the one before. I find it easier to trust in the spirits to guide me.

I am very confident in my work as I am given the information directly from the spirit and I believe these spirits to be 99.9% accurate. I am a normal person with a normal life and the only difference between me and the next person is that the spirit world and its inhabitants use me as a channel through which they send their messages to our world and their families here.
